Case Summary

Delhi police have placed three individuals in custody following an alleged attack on a woman from Nagaland and her companions. The incident occurred in the early hours of Sunday, roughly around 3:30 a.m., in the parking area of a five‑star hotel located within the Chanakyapuri diplomatic enclave.

How the Incident Unfolded

According to the official statement, the victim arrived at the hotel accompanied by a doctor friend from RML Hospital and two other acquaintances. After using the restroom, the group was approached near the car park by three men driving a white Mercedes.

Friends Intervene

The three men allegedly attempted to drag the woman toward their vehicle. When her friends stepped in, a physical confrontation erupted. The intervening friends – identified as Ayush, Udbhav and Samarth – sustained injuries; Ayush suffered a dental injury while Udbhav and Samarth were also reportedly beaten.

The woman was immediately rushed to RML Hospital for a medical evaluation. She managed to note down the registration number of the white Mercedes, a detail that has become pivotal for investigators.

Accused Identified

The police have named the suspects as Divyanshu, Gaurav and Mohit. A formal FIR was filed at Chanakyapuri Police Station based on the victim’s complaint and the accompanying medical report.

Investigation Status

Detectives are currently reviewing statements from all parties and reconstructing the sequence of events at the hotel’s parking zone. The three accused remain in police custody while the investigation proceeds.
