Revenue climbs to Rs 5,788 crore

Trent Ltd, the retail arm of the Tata Group, announced standalone operating revenue of Rs 5,788 crore for the July‑September quarter – a 23 % increase year‑on‑year compared with Rs 4,724 crore recorded in the same period last year.

The six‑month total (April‑September) also surged, reaching Rs 11,454 crore, up 21 % YoY, highlighting the sustained momentum across its brand portfolio.

Zudio breaks the 1,000‑store barrier

Value‑fashion chain Zudio celebrated the launch of its 1,000th outlet during the quarter, adding a net 17 new stores. Its sister brand Westside contributed 10 additional locations.

Together, Trent’s brands operated 1,342 stores across India as of 30 September 2026, reflecting an assertive expansion into tier‑II and tier‑III cities.

Analyst coverage turns bullish

International brokerage BofA Securities initiated coverage on Trent and assigned a ‘Buy’ rating, citing the company’s consistent top‑line growth and its aggressive expansion blueprint.

Store rollout remains the growth catalyst

With Zudio now surpassing the 1,000‑store milestone and Trent’s overall network swelling beyond 1,300 outlets, the group is cementing its position as a leading force in India’s organised retail landscape. Investors are closely monitoring how fresh store openings will translate into future earnings.
