Dehradun – Prominent YouTuber and ex‑Bigg Boss contestant Anurag Dobhal, widely known as UK07 Rider, was taken into police custody in Dehradun after a formal complaint alleged that he assaulted, restrained, threatened and stole from Raj Singh Chauhan, a relative of his wife.

Why Did Police Intervene?

The matter came to light when Chauhan approached the Nehru Colony police station and lodged a detailed complaint describing a series of violent incidents. Authorities promptly filed a case and launched an investigation.

Key Allegations in the Complaint

Chauhan’s statement says the clash occurred on 5 October near a café on Haridwar Bypass Road, where he had gone to meet Dobhal and his team. He alleges the encounter turned into a physical brawl, with specific accusations including:

  • Being physically attacked and allegedly choked by Dobhal.
  • Assaults by several of Dobhal’s associates, causing injuries.
  • An attempted vehicle ramming.
  • Stealing his mobile phone and a gold chain.
  • Subsequent threats via phone calls and social‑media messages.

Police have incorporated all these points into their ongoing probe.

Four Persons Detained by Police

Officers received a tip about a fight near Haridwar Bypass Road on the night of 5 October. Upon arrival, they found Dobhal and his companions in a confrontation with Chauhan. Both sides were escorted to a nearby police outpost to prevent further violence. The dispute reportedly continued at the outpost, prompting senior officers to step in.

In the end, four individuals were placed in custody: Anurag Dobhal and three associates identified as Abhishek, Abhay Chaudhary and Kurbaan. Chauhan was taken to Doon Hospital for medical assessment after sustaining injuries.

FIR Filing and Family Background

The Nehru Colony police registered a First Information Report (FIR) based on Chauhan’s complaint, naming Dobhal and the three others. Investigators are working to piece together the sequence of events and determine each person’s involvement.

The case also highlights a reported family dispute involving Dobhal and his wife, Ritika. Raj Singh Chauhan is said to be related to Ritika, though police have not confirmed any direct link between the familial feud and the alleged assault.

Dobhal’s Response

Anurag Dobhal has publicly refuted the accusations, claiming that he and his group were the victims of an unprovoked attack. He says his side reported the incident to police immediately and will present his version of events during the investigation.

The inquiry remains active. All allegations are subject to verification, and the final outcome will depend on the evidence gathered throughout the legal process.
