Fatal outcome of a domestic dispute in Sadarpur

On a Sunday in Sadarpur, an area under the Madhuban Bapudham police jurisdiction, 33‑year‑old Renu was discovered lifeless following a violent confrontation with her spouse. Investigators have filed a case against the husband, Arun, who remains at large.

Renu’s origins and family background

Renu hailed from Jalalpur village in Aligarh’s Pisawa block. She had been married to Arun, a resident of Sadarpur, for roughly fifteen years. The couple were parents to two sons, aged 12 and 9.

Relatives allege a history of abuse

According to members of Renu’s maternal family, Arun was prone to physical aggression, especially after drinking alcohol. They contend that confrontations were not new and that the pair had previously engaged in several heated arguments.

Escalation on the day of the tragedy

The latest altercation is said to have erupted on Sunday when another quarrel broke out. The family maintains that the dispute quickly turned violent. During the scuffle, Arun allegedly placed a video call to Renu’s brother, Rahul Rathi, showing his sister’s injuries and pleading for him to come and rescue her.

Brother’s hurried arrival

After receiving the distressing call, Rahul, accompanied by other relatives, rushed to Sadarpur. Upon reaching the house they found it locked, and neighbours informed them that Renu had already been taken to a medical facility.

Hospital confirmation

The family arrived at the Joint District Hospital in Sanjay Nagar, where doctors examined Renu and pronounced her dead. Preliminary reports indicated a severe head injury, allegedly caused by a heavy object.

Husband’s disappearance

Renu’s relatives claim that members of Arun’s family left the hospital before they could arrive. Following the death, Rahul filed a formal complaint naming Arun and several in‑laws as suspects.

Police response and manhunt

DCP City Dhawal Jaiswal confirmed that investigators are actively pursuing Arun. Police have begun tracing his whereabouts and said additional legal actions will follow once he is located.
