Snapshot of the State‑Level Employment Expo

The capital city of Chhattisgarh will host a two‑day job exhibition on 7 & 8 October at the Juneja Indoor Stadium, Boodhapara. Coordinated by the Department of Skill Development, Technical Education and Employment, the fair aims to pair more than 8,700 open positions with enthusiastic job seekers.

Industries Participating and Sample Vacancies

To date, 36 firms and placement agencies have submitted listings covering a wide array of sectors, such as:

  • Manufacturing and engineering
  • Electrical and automotive services
  • Sales, marketing and customer support
  • Banking, finance and office administration
  • Healthcare, security and logistics

Roles range from technicians, machine operators, electricians and engineers to sales executives, computer operators, tele‑callers, nursing staff, security guards, drivers and delivery personnel. Apprenticeship and trainee opportunities are also available.

Eligibility – Who Should Apply?

The expo welcomes candidates with varied educational backgrounds. Depending on the job, required qualifications span from Class 10 and Class 12 up to ITI, diploma, engineering, graduate and postgraduate degrees. The official portal displays openings in healthcare, education, engineering, security and many other domains.

Registration Procedure

Interested candidates must register on the Chhattisgarh Employment Department’s e‑Rojgar portal. Follow these simple steps:

  1. Navigate to the e‑Rojgar website and click “Employment Seeker Login”.
  2. Complete your personal profile and upload the necessary documents.
  3. Explore the posted vacancies and pick the positions you wish to contest.
  4. Submit your application and note any interview schedule provided.

The department is also collaborating with local bodies to ensure participation from both urban and rural communities.
