Research Stipends Raised to ₹25,000 per Month

Eligible researchers will see their monthly allowance increase from ₹16,000 to ₹25,000. A dedicated ₹1 crore research‑support fund will also be created to accelerate university‑level projects and cultivate a thriving academic environment.

AI and Advanced Computing Laboratories

To align student capabilities with future‑ready industries, AI and advanced computing labs will be set up in government colleges. These centres will expose learners to emerging technologies, stimulate innovation and open pathways to high‑growth careers.

₹5 Crore State‑Level “Idea Fund” for Young Innovators

A new ₹5 crore “Idea Fund” will back promising concepts from budding entrepreneurs, encouraging a shift from job‑seeking to job‑creating, and nurturing startups that can generate further employment.

Skill‑Development Training for One Lakh Youth

The state aims to upskill 100,000 young people through vocational programmes, with strengthened placement cells linking trainees to suitable jobs, ensuring that skill acquisition translates into meaningful employment.

Additional MPPSC Examination Planned

In addition to the regular annual test, an extra Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) exam will be held next year, offering aspirants another opportunity to secure government positions as part of the Year of Youth drive.

Expansion of Higher and Medical Education

Plans are underway to establish 12 new medical colleges and 12 new universities throughout Madhya Pradesh, with a strong emphasis on courses directly linked to employability.

Enhanced Schemes for Female Students and Working Women

The existing “Gaon Ki Beti” and “Pratibha Kiran” schemes will be extended to postgraduate women scholars. Moreover, hostels for working women will be opened in every division, providing safe and convenient accommodation for women entering the workforce.

Broad‑Based Push on Jobs, Technology and Entrepreneurship

The conclave brought together representatives from 17 government departments and featured more than 80 exhibition stalls showcasing opportunities in AI, robotics, drones, semiconductors, renewable energy and electric vehicles. A Global Investors Summit is scheduled for Bhopal next year, targeting sectors capable of large‑scale job creation. Additionally, 500 new National Service Scheme (NSS) units will be formed to boost youth participation in community service.

Collectively, these initiatives form a multi‑sectoral strategy that weaves together education, competitive examinations, research, technology, skill development, startups and employment, laying the groundwork for Madhya Pradesh’s 2027 Year of Youth.
